Special Music
Special Music is a ministry the provides the opportunity for those that have been blessed with musical ability to share their gifts in service to the Lord. Through vocal and instrumental music, solos and ensembles, accompanied by piano, organ, keyboard, guitar, accompaniment track, or acapella these individuals lift their praises in music and shares with the congregationtheir heartfelt message in song. At Cambria Baptist Church, we have been blessed with many gifted individuals so we have several specials within the hour to hour and fifteen minutes worship services each Sunday morning and evening. We also have several of our special family, friends, and missionaries visit and usually can pursued them to share their musical gifts with us which creates a very exciting service.
S.I.N.G. (Songs Inspired Now Given) is a service that is entirely comprised of music performed by our special music musicians. Sometimes, these musicians invite special guests or family to join them for this service. We hold this service during an evening service and it is an uplifting night of song and celebration.
During the annual Easter Musical ministry, these special music musicians become the prodimant musical instrument in telling the gospel story. This musical ministry gives musicians the outreach opportunity to share the most important and powerful story, the life of Jesus Christ. Through drama, music, and song our Lord may come to life for our audience and prayerfully He may become their personal Savior. Our 15th annual production is comming this April. Past performances have included “Almighty” 2010, “His Love” 2009, “One Choice” 2008, “Follow Him” 2007, “The Promise” 2005. Our music directors, Warren & Dawn Miller are always available to assist with music selection, arrangements, ensemble formation or any other need to help encourage everyone to use the gifts that God bestowed to each of us.
