All Stars to the Lord

Sunday evening rehearsal during the evening service after they do a special each week. Materials are provided for parental help at home. They also rehearse during Family Action Nights on Wednesdays from May to October.
This children’s choir is open to 3 years old to pre-teens. Deb Simmons is the director has been working for children and children’s ministries for many years which has earned her the name of “Aunt Deb” to many of her beloved kids. The little ones rehearse during the later half of the evening service all year and during the Wednedsay evening Family Action night which is held from May to October. The choir shares a special almost every week during the evening service.
The All Stars to the Lord also prepares and give separate performances two or three times each year. Each of these performances are themed about a bibilcal charcter, principal, or event in which the children study together and then share in song and narration. This is a large outreach opportunity for these young people as we work with each of them about their relationship with the Lord and also to help them to become soul winners by teaching them how to share the gospel in a public way through song and recitation.
The children are also an important part of the annual Easter Musical ministry which will be presenting it 15th annual production”My Cross” April 21-24, 2011. Their innocent reactions to the scenes and their sweet love as they see Jesus portaryed by Jeremy Harrington, our youth director these past few years, helps the gosepel story come alive for our live audience. Past performances have included “Almighty” 2010, “His Love” 2009, “One Choice” 2008, “Follow Him” 2007, “The Promise” 2005. FALL PROGRAM for 2011
There is a sign-up sheet in the west foyer
for all 3 year olds – 6th graders who would like to participate in
the All Stars FALL music program this year.
Practice will be starting in a couple of weeks on Wednesday and Sunday
nights and the date for the program will be announced at a later date.
